I am really happy with this lens hood. It is much cheaper than the Canon but it completely fulfills its role visor but also protection for the lens. It can be placed in the "open position" for the use or in the "closed position" for storage in the bag. I put only 4 stars because it's a little difficult to clip into "closed".
