"Regulate ... G Funk Era" is a great album, which is very well suited for sit back and relax. It has been completely produced by Warren G itself and contains very harmonious beats and matching loose texts. Unfortunately, there is little fall short. The album also one of the most best tracks of Hip Hop history is natürluch represented, "Regulate". Many tracks are just great, such as "Do You See", "This DJ" or "Super Soul Sis". However, the two skits are unnecessary on the already short album. However, this is bleating on a gehobenerem level and this album has become a classic and still worth the money. For me it is incomprehensible that it has not received a 5 mic rating from the "Source". In my eyes, this album fits seamlessly into the league of such ingenious G-funk albums like Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" and Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle" a.
Unfortunately I missed while listening to Snoop Dogg, which should be known together with Nate Dogg and Warren G as 213. An appearance by Dr. Dre, which can be seen in the video for "Do You See" the album would have then been perfected, but seis drum. The whole album has yet fully convinced me.
However, I would advise to the album version of 2000, which was remastered, contains "Regulate" video and a great G-Funk remix of "Regulate". Who but the original versions of albums preferable can safely rely on this first edition of 1994.
Who wants to have relaxed rap music, is well served here. A very good album from the G-Funk era ...
