The technique:
The game looks on the PS3 damn good. In fact, it is so that I far less well-resolution textures and perhaps some compromise on lighting no big differences from the video on youtube to see on course, the PS4 (!) Show version. This makes me in terms of the proposed purchase of a PS4 however a bit worried, because if only a little better light and higher-resolution textures are all the "NextGen" brings ..... I do not know. As I said, the game looks supergut out more can you expect from the old PS3 hard. The music is harmonious when they also does not stick, the rain and the wet effects in the main mission to make real head turner and overall graphical implementation ensures a dense atmosphere. Snakes breathing, footsteps, wet clothes, waving tarpaulins, fluttering cloaks - all the little details are there, you just missed if they were not there. It runs constantly fluid and playable.
Gameplay:
The control of the predecessor has been revised and corresponds to the most commonly used today 3rd person games. You find your way quickly if you have played GTA5, Hitman Absolution or equivalent. I'm missing a button to dock with coverages that happens more automatically and not always wanted as from me. But it is.
The freely rotatable camera always provides good overview. The on PS1 rather boring inventory acidifying the 1st part binoculars here is the best friend of an agent.
Who wants to play Rambo, that can do here, it seems to me, however, that after a time always spawn new enemies, or in extreme situations anrückt further strengthening. So clean is the basis komplet possibly nothing. MGS is for me, if not the Stealth Game and so I play it well, even if the game does not make a Rambo-variant quite too hard.
Some new features are not a new invention, but especially in MGS but then new and waiting to be discovered. The wheel invent not new. It is nice that the (still very few) cars are used "may".
The Story:
Knowing Peace Walker is an enormous advantage. I myself have never played out, however, read intensively in the story and looked a walkthrough on youtube and am setting creates enough substance in it.
Also I read prior to the game, the summaries in Ground Zeroes and the existing Audiologs belongs, hit the bridge between MGS Peace Walker and 5.
In essence, one could reduce the story to "save Paz and Chico" and much more happening in this mission as well. Interesting are the backgrounds to Paz and Chico, why they are there where they are and why Snake wants / needs it urgently rid NOW. But all of that is very manageable in comparison to old MGS titles.
MGS GZ should ensure that one takes with the characters familiar and comes in the mood, according to Kojima. Well I must say, this is done through the Audiologs much more than the few dialogues and cut scenes in the game. Snake / Big Boss bleibnt bit pale and lacks the old robustness. This is also the new spokesperson Kiefer Sutherland. In view of the development is to go through the character in Phantom Pain and ultimately leads to the Big Boss in MGS 4, the new voice makes sense and fits securely and well. But the old woman missing nonetheless. I'll get used to it.
Playing time / pricing policy:
Much has been written on this and I agree with the negative at Canon.
40 euros, or 30 euros for this playing time (not for skills, because that is good) are simply outrageous and must not lead to a financial success at Konami, because then we will soon be the already absurd situation (lots of paid DLC's with see to the extreme Extra Maps, extra weapons, extra thing, Extra Leck Mich fat) and get only 15 items Hacked Games, each to an unreasonable price, so that a full game sometime costs as much as half a console. Do not let it happen.
All fans of the series want to play this game and you shall also play. But it does not purchase new in the store. Will buy it secondhand, it borrows from the video library or from friends. I have it from the VT and had it (the main mission) in 2.5 hours. It must be said that I am not durchgelauifen the game but have the sneaking and Aussondieren celebrated very elongated. Had I played a goal-oriented, would have been easy under 45 minutes in there and known as the real freaks are the main mission done in 6 minutes.
Sure, there are a variety of side missions, but all originated in the same military base. Differences are only placement and amount of enemies, find spots for equipment, mission objectives (prisoners or certain objects) which you have to find and the weather. Otherwise, the same sauce as the main mission.
But one must not demand 40 euros. A Man of Steel or Hobbit 2 in the cinema for 15 euro is a much much more worth the money,
Conclusion:
Game well, much too short, never ever buy! Never !!
Rent it or wait for a complete pack or lower download. From the entertainment life is worth no more than 10 euros.
That is why the 1-star rating, even though it is the game itself technically not fair. As a comprehensive OpenWorld game with a duration of 10-15 hours and a sophisticated story would part 4, if not deserve 5 stars. But I can not and will not let them get away with a good rating this arg reduced portion, so that no more people make the mistake to buy the game and thus favor the above development.
