In the game with the possibility of a tray pillaging to go through the world provides thereby a new fresh approach. There are no settlements or cities to which one must take care of, but combine individual hordes, the army and the population in itself.
The AI has been reworked and operates better than in Rome 2, it uses more times from carelessness and attack one's own group is weak. The battles have become even more challenging and the AI behaves usually better, but still tends to dropouts.
The graphics are very nice and detailed, if you have the appropriate hardware. Butterweich (With me i5-2500K, 970GTX, 8GB Ram) Runs on Very High.
Why I give only 2 stars: The DLC policy of Sega / Creative Assembly. Not only that it is still day one DLC was directly with three new factions that were at least pre-order yet included, just one or two weeks after release of the next DLC pack came with three other playable factions, each offering 2 new units, for a paltry 7 , 50 Euros. That was certainly not the last DLC with fractions. So I would advise prospective buyers on a waiting horde Golden Edition Game of the Year or Emperor, or, is then contained in the circumstances of all DLC.
