Game still available, but be unnecessarily bloated

The Pokemon games have been with me my entire childhood pass. Starting with Red and blue, to yellow, silver, gold, crystal and ultimately, LeafGreen. Yes, I have a few editions omitted and that has a particular reason, I would now like to explain.

The game system has always fascinated. My collector's instinct was aroused and so I was often busy on long car trips with the rearing of my little virtual pets. The first two generations with your 151 and 251 Pokemon were still quite manageable. Through a very good deal so I have added myself before short still the Black Edition 2, simply because of the old days. Direct los gambled and immediately verspührt the old feeling. The graphics are of course a lot nicer as it was then and the combat animations are now quite mature. But playing for almost 10 hours, I was then but a little overwhelmed. The now bursting at the seams Pokedex is therefore to blame for the whole story. With each generation obviously came 100 new Pokemon add what would now be more than 600. In words: Six hundred Pokemon!

For me personally listens honestly exactly at this point of the collecting mania. In the first two generations had found his favorites quickly. Each Pokemon was somewhere reasonable and justified, although some were weaker than others. Now creatures are thrown against me, where I can not even say the optical purely what is supposed to represent it at all. Dazumal like me personally (!) Many of the new Skins absolutely not. None of the newly added Pokemon has any special recognition for me. Perhaps also because I know only the very old editions and have therefore skipped too many things. But the longer I play, the more it occurs to me why it was just necessary to install as many Pokemon? Dazumal the gameplay is almost identical to the old editions, just with a few new features.

As I said, it still exudes the old Pokemon charm and is a very nice game. But overwhelmed me and demotivated has not been necessary just this gigantic Pokedex of A) and B) to many animals including the in my opinion were not just designed very carefully. And simply draw something to get full the 100 new Pokemon for the next generation, it may not be somehow.

The game I rate four stars, the overall unfortunately only three. I can put the game each warmly who has ever experienced any generation. Players who have a gap somewhere will probably be similar confused as I was. I'll certainly play through and try all available Pokemon to catch. But should me sometime again the desire to pack on Pokemon, I take rather the old editions where you do not have to look only on the Internet what it is right now again for a cattle.
