Lego Technic 8293 - Power Functions Motor Set (Toy)

Customer Review

The Lego is rarely priced really cheap affair, everyone knows lovers of the iconic building blocks of Denmark (or now China ^^). Especially in the present LEGO Technic Power Functions Motor Set This is quite clear, as tumbling for about 30 euros, at first glance very little out of the box. However, these few parts correctly in themselves, because they offer a terrific fun update for almost all LEGO Technic models or what was even more important for me, for all freestyle projects outside of the official plans. Also great for kids there's just a lot of fun, been either convert existing models or new master structures to operate with the "Power Functions" or to conceive the same so new that they use the engine certain processes or movements "of" even running.

About the educational value one must, I think, do not even waste words, you learn a lot about drive and motion technology in practical and playful use, something better can you offer in this respect hardly. Stay the price and the fact that the battery box is crying out for 6 AA batteries and therefore naturally once somehow must be relatively bulky item to be scheduled in the models - in the official Technic stuff usually no problem, but must at own creative work that Ding once somehow accommodated and especially the weight to be taken into account. For quite powerful engine, however, this is not a problem, it does its job reliably and in conjunction with a sensible gear moving all lego possible unerringly from A to B. as long as there are no kilo Death Stars on Wheels. Short the set is therefore a thoroughly sensible addition to the domestic Lego collection and only the bulky battery box and the price spoil the overall picture somewhat, resulting 1 star deduction in the overall results. Lego Maniacs can but, if you ignore, because gameplay has halted previously rare a purse :)

A unit that I recommend! Rank: 5/5
