With four excellent studio productions in the back, it was time for a KAMELOT Live disc. The support tour with CRIMSON GLORY offered as a welcome opportunity to record them the complete program. The included 8 numbers, the course mainly were made up from the current album "The Fourth Legacy". This is only logical, however regrettable, at least I would have liked to hear more material that was originally sung by Mark Vanderbilt. Here it is represented of that time only "Call Of The Sea" from the debut album "Eternity", the rest comes from the last two albums. My disappointment soon fades, however, because "Until Kingdom Come" (the ideal opener!) Or "Nights of Arabia", brought from KAMELOT as an encore, just are hammer tracks. The live bullets are complemented by three rarities: making a start "We Three Kings", which tells the history of instrumental Magi. Second, we have "One Day", the Japan-bonus of "Siege Perilous". The first joint composition of tape head Thom Youngblood and the then-new singer Roy S. Khan is not a bad ballad, but initially does not ignite as about "A Sailorman's Hymn", which is included in the live set of Florida metallers. As a conclusion, there is in the form of "We Are Not Separate" one of the best tracks KAMELOT, who has now won with Roy Khan as a singer, with powerful guitars again to bite. In addition to the musical content makes the opulent booklet - 20 pages, all texts, dozens of photos - "The Expedition" a jewel of any collection. Smiling-Shark.com
