When the part came at first I thought "Oh great in the description is not of the EOS 500D."
So just try and lo and behold, it works flawlessly.
Camera au only provide self-timer and you can already trigger either directly (s) or 2-second delay (2s).
The camera focuses before briefly sharply (Autofocus)
Was only confused by some Rezesionen here.
