At first I thought that would be at the first-fruits of hook like that. So confused here seemed to me the concept. I remember that I took the CD at first listen already at the growls on streams from the player. The fit here so do not ... but meanwhile has all changed. I do a hard time with the idea that it should really be a debut. For this, the band seems much too mature and superior. They obviously knew exactly what they wanted and how it should sound ultimately. Admirable as they juggle with different styles of music. Besides rock and metal elements you always hear jazz and swing out, just as well as Gothic and quite pop. And it just fits, none of it seems wrong or placed, but instead internally consistent, so you every now and again nodding his head, thinking: So it must be.
This feat the band manages with all the pieces. And all that is topped with barbed beautiful melodies that you simply no longer get out of your head. Goosebumps guaranteed. Highlights in my view are The Point of no return, and especially Celestial Elixir (just the latter reveals a wealth of ideas, the other band will have not reached even at the end of her career), but actually every song a highlight.
Comparisons with other bands are extremely difficult. SpockŽs Beard and Arena come to mind, as well as Genesis and Queen. As for the diversity of ideas, they are now almost at par with the old Queen and Rush, which actually seems impossible.
I'm already hard curious to see how it will go with hooks. So a debut can beat yourself hard. Or is it?
I forgive, because it is no different possible five stars. But this is a joke - a doubling would be appropriate here.
