For the price you get a very well thought-out case with a lot of facilities and the possibility to accommodate 2 thick radiators and long graphics cards, however, is what ultimately left the production line - to put it mildly - not exactly brilliant.
The development is carried out in Germany and the production (see label packaging) in China.
I thought I would call it the ultimate in PC casings my own.
The casing is packed in 2 cartons (once in a glossy printed gift box, the whole then again in a neutral Fibre carton for shipment)
The thereby resulting electrostatic charge (Styrofoam trays) tops every Defi, na at least stood by me then prophylactically before the hairs on ...
- Seitenwandarretierung with many small noses, you need some more tests until the wall properly locked. (Desirable models like Thermaltake Soprano 1st Gen, side wall with a continuous frame, the front set, purely pivoted and then secured with snap or screw on the rear panel.
- Plexiglas is held by plate tongues and has a lot of irregularities and blurred areas
- To several inside paint flaws, even outside on a corner flaking
- Thread in Mainboardtray are pre-cut a little too big, spacers you can not put right (Just a touch of threads, a twisted right through).
- The decoupling of the hard drives is via very hard rubber bushings with far too short screws (bushings are compressed when tightening the screws and thereby biased), virtually not at all. (Desirable system of Silverstone longer screws and very soft silicone sleeves)
- Manufacturing tolerances of the HDD cages are times rappelig large, sometimes irreducible narrow (a hard drive carrier I could not pull out because the gratbehaftete locking lug has keyed to the counterpart of the cage.
+ Dust filter sit directly in front of the fans (that serve their purpose!) And are removable without tools, even during operation.
+ 2-channel fan controller depending on up to 3 fans, variable speed range 7-12V
+ Insulation of the side walls of bitumen (might have been a little more space on the hard drive cages, which handles the Bays scratching when mounting the side wall of the insulation
+ Insulation of front doors bitumen and drive each about 2mm foam, much too close to the drive off, eject button and drawers are expressed minimally in the foam, the slider of the fan control.
- Front doors have strong hinges with play.
