German, yet incredibly exciting - pure goose bumps!

Admittedly, at first I did not expect much of the film, because I am in principle not particularly enthusiastic about German films, especially not when it comes to thrills, so films of the genre Mystery / Thriller / Horror. Therefore, I had no overly high expectations of the film, but was pleasantly surprised right from the first minute.

Although after the first scene but then followed by a "German film-typical" scene with her husband, so after about 10 minutes it is thus already over and during the entire rest of the film itself provides an internationally compatible film spectacle.

It is about two friends who have not seen each other since childhood. One of the two has the memory of the time at that time almost entirely lost, especially the memory of a girl named Maria, which is then probably also have been present. Together, the two go back to the island where they have always used to spend the holidays. Suddenly, the protagonist begins, the girl Maria to see (although this should be dead) and begins Bruck patchy at more and more details from her past to remember. When she realizes that she should leave the island as soon as possible, it's already too late ...

The film captures a right at the beginning and the voltage increasing. Have particularly liked the good sound effects and background music that is actually more used to in American cinema. The film will surely have some shocking moments and is (for a film of this genre) relatively realistic, also concerning the behavior of the people.

The end I have so initially not expected to have even if I still have about half an hour before they came to the conclusion part of the Pointe then guessed.

All in all I would recommend him to people who stand on films with psychological tension, who looks rather splatter, is probably less served here. The film was able to convince not only concerns what thrills, but also offers even a deep, emotional story. Therefore, it is one of the few films that I actually give even 5 stars.
