There following some rather experimental albums that did not meet my taste, and then
1996
"Salvation", the last album in the original line-up ... Yet wars a board that ran up and down with me and run!
Unfortunately, it was also the time being last studio album and Aplahville / Marian Gold sat on the download and Internet sales.
2010
Alphaville - with new Singel, the me a lot of "Sounds like a Melody" reminiscent and thus very clear to me a hit.
Because the song is new, still driving, produced today ... Brötzmann & Jeo, the largest in the world Synthieproduzierer ;-)
Inevitably, the tension rose to the album through the roof ... Then the message of limited, signed vinyl Scheibchens ... Also this came yesterday with me -!
Because now "Catching Rays on Giant" turns the player ...
There it is again, everything I love ... great melodies, driving rhythms topped by the multi-faceted voice of Marian Gold.
Driving Synthetikpop and legendary ballads ... a work in one piece and in a run ...
On the Ltd.Edition are quite fine demos and two mixes from top 1.Album that "force" to buy these for now.
Then this beautiful DVD with insight into the studio life and thoughts of Marian Gold (also in 3D, including glasses ;-))
Alphavile are back because they had never been away ...
Marian Gold said after listening to the finished work ... That was not beabsichtig but it sounds like the best of Alphaville 1 & 2 in a new look ...
Yes, that's so!
This album is a Best of Alphaville, a continuation of my story, my youth and I am sure of very many soul brothers and sisters around the Earth ball, which are also convinced that were written in the 80s the best tunes in the world.
You can not re-invent this, but you can find yourself.
Coming home is one of the most beautiful things of this world ...
Thank be Alphaville for this great musical piece "at home".
PS: In my OMD criticism I wrote that OMD have strongly presented and I am anxious to Alphaville ... Not comparable, but at least better ;-)!
Addendum:
19/03/2011 Alphaville live in Cologne Gloria ... it was great, especially the powerful modified Arrangments! Thank Messrs on stage!
