Real Talk (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Fabolous was with his megahit "I can''t I Deny" star overnight. This was followed with "Ghetto Fabolous" and "Street Dreams" two very good albums that could convince me for the most part also. Not a few were thus assume that Fab could put on the rap throne without difficulty. "Real Talk" is his third studio album, which has become more pretty good, but not nearly enough for the throne. He secured hereby for the time being even critical acclaim. While pointing to the first single "Breathe" a hot album on what it has also become for the most part, although I think to a lot of pop is. More songs like "Breathe" were making sure not damaged the album. But above all, the first song on the disc can be very doubt whether Fab, but one of the best rappers is, the Brooklyn has to offer. Boring Instrumentals inferior second-class Mixtape Rhymes the "Real Talk" perhaps could even move from a Gangsta album far into the distance. "Tit 4 Tat (feat. Pharrell)" is probably one of the worst songs on the album. The productions of the Neptunes were sometimes even better. But above all, the correct lame track "Gangsta" is more reminiscent of a mediocre mixtape song. In "Do not Stop Will not Stop" on the other hand Fab raps pretty neat and presented once again his class Skillz. The beat is, however, become quite monotonous and is so incredibly boring and leaves the track for no longer than the lower average. From "Baby (feat. Mike Shorey)" However, things are looking up. A very nice track for the ladies, on the Fabolous could not have been better rap. Everything fits here. The same applies also for "Girls", another hip-hop / R & B Song. This is followed by "Church (feat. Charlie Murphy)" a godly song that is not bad though but after the two R & B numbers completely out of place is. Nevertheless, is "Church" for the default Ghetto Proleterei that you do not get to hear from a rapper from the Big Apple for the first time. But then one draws a good midfielder hope. Especially "Do The Damn Thang (feat. Young Jeezy)" and the Just Blaze-production "It's Alright" with dancehall star Sean Paul songs are at a high level. Really cool! "In My Hood" can convince only partly due to the very annoying refrains me personally. Children's voices do not always come well. Thus, with "In My Hood" Another mediocre song on the album. But with "Young & Sexy (feat. Pharrell & Mike Shorey)" you get back a good R & B song for your ears. Too bad that this high level throughout the album could not be kept on. Thus, "Real Talk" a good hip hop album from NYC, even if a couple of weaker songs are.
