The disadvantage of dehydrated products, is that they cost extremely expensive, with few exceptions (dates, raisins ..), hence the importance of having this type of device to less than 70 ... Euro (including shipping), it will be quickly amortized.
Operation is simple:

In a bowl, mix:
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar;
- 2 tbsp fish sauce;
- 1 tbsp chopped lemongrass;
- 1 tbsp ground ginger;
- 1 tbsp sesame oil;
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds;
- 2 tbsp soy sauce.
Cut meat slices 2 to 3 mm thick (about) and put them in the marinade. Let stand 1 hour minimum (3 hours for best results).
Remove the strips of meat from the marinade and dry them roughly with a paper towel or a cloth.
Arrange the slices on the trays (without overlap), set the temperature to 60 ° C and the duration of 12 hours.
Meat and dried perfectly preserved at room temperature for a good week. However, be sure to keep it in a box or a sealed bag to protect from light.

WARNING though: this type of device is bulky VERY: small kitchens prohibited!
The faults that I find in this device are not due to the device itself or to its design, but rather the constraints related to maintenance (dishes in the bathtub, occupation of a work plan for 12 hours and more ..) to consider before you buy. I do not withdraw a star for those characteristics that are common to all domestic dehydrators.
