Giant storage for less money

Have the hard disk on my Fritz box. There she is most of the time out (power saving mode) and can be used by all PCs in the house. If you need high read / write speeds, you should connect the drive directly, however, then it is thanks USB3 also pretty fast.

For watching movies, however, the speed at the Fritz box is sufficient.
However, (at least my) Fritzbox so their problems with the immense amount of data, an index (search the folder for photos / videos / music) does not succeed, so I also can not readily release files on the Internet.
Since the hard drive can not help, but I did not want to leave unmentioned.
