What I was insecure. Preliminary bad reviews, then "Twilight of the Gods" as the (loud Hansi) "offering single itself", which was not bad, but as a highlight of the album rather weak ... and then that. I have two CDs now four times , and the first hearing on it has ignited. The bangs and grooved on all ends, the Kürsch'schen vocal lines so uncommon they may be, sitting on the point, and for me there is no, absolutely no filler in this album. Somewhere always comes this melody genius around the corner, which conjures up a grinning face. Proggiger than usual, in another review mentioned very fitting Arjen Lucassen / Ayreon.
Whether you had distributed on two CDs 2x38 minutes, one may wonder, and a half-star deduction's for the mix / mastering: The whole thing is quite mushy and dull if you verleicht it with other Aöben (and on various plants and headphones). The half star but it should not spoil the overall impression, for me full credit. And giant looking forward to the concert in Krefeld at 2.4.!
