Gin & Wine, that's fine

Even with their third album Gravel & Wine convinced Gin Wigmore again by high-quality music. A wide variety of styles, which runs through all the pieces, making her latest work very varied and captivating throughout. The instrumentation makes a significant contribution. The Slide Guitar ensures the right Blue Feeling that Dobrogitarre for the typical country sound, even jazzy inspired trumpets can be heard. But the unmistakable voice of course it is - the unique selling point of gin - which pulls me out of the synagogue and not let go.

Blacksheep on waiting with a pounding rhythm and starts with a hypnotic polyphonic singing. Yes, the blonde gin are here convincing the black sheep.

Man Like That starts as the theme song to "Mission Impossible", to the powerful slide guitar, and build suspense groovy number is it.

Devil In Me has a rich guitar intro and well, the statement I'll drink until you love me could lead to a huge noise. Gin forever!

In the ballad-like If Only it is the voice of Gin, which prevents the piece from drifting into the kitsch.

Saturday Smile is a beautiful piano ballad with appropriate goosebumps moments.

Sweet Light, great rousing country rock number.

Singing My Soul is my favorite song on this album convincing. The emotional ballad accompanied only by guitars. The Singing Slide Guitar harmonizes beautifully with the singing. Gin sobs the chorus so heartbreaking and intensely beautiful, it goes like this under your skin, simply amazing!
