Finally. After moving and dangerous history of Wren and Maggie, this is the result of this series. In this tenth volume, Kenyon completely upsets the reader who suddenly loses all his haunts. We fly away from New Orleans to land in Seattle, with Ravyn Kontis. Hunter of the Night, werewolves and Arcadian Sentinel, Ravyn no resemblance to what we already know. It's a whole character who despite the difficulties, accept things as they are. He does his job with great cynicism and black humor what works relatively well to our reporter the strange. Susan finds himself propelled to the center of the universe to which it does not believe one second and its defensive character earned him the respect of Ecuyers as Otto (former squire Valerius). Other characters already perceived as Belle, Zoe, or Dragon Kyl connect us still hunters to New Orleans and our habits. Yet some things are surprising as the weariness that Acheron, Seattle, seems less involved in what happens to his hunters. The reappearance of Nick Gautier argues instead that the most hateful demon with the Stryker is also a shock. Forgot nice Nick, friend of hunters. It became perfectly unbearable and irritating. I think to choose, I prefer Stryker that stays true to himself! The story in itself is reminiscent of the dangerous situation Sunshine and Talon however it follows the progress of the plot with great attention and envy. Small problem that is important to me, the end! Kenyon had accustomed us to a real outcome or where we end up a little in the dark: What happens Ravyn and Susan? Cael and Amaranda? Acheron, Nick or Satara? In fact, it is as if this tenth tome opened a door to a second part of the "circle of the immortals." The author leaves many questions unanswered and it pushes us to want to read more. Ultimately, BLACK MOON is not the book I prefer. He did not transported as others have been able to. The story was not as exciting although darker. I feel like a break with the past which will not help but buy the next volume to know what happened.
