Here an electronics technician ask:
Option 1: Replace blue LED. Stupid, not the Led but the IC-addressing was only broken with me.
Option 2: If the IC is defective 'then all LEDs out - interconnects for IC sever (supply and outputs), new supply from battery contacts to new LED's made right.
AND AS LED?
a simple commercially available (no advertising may make) RGB - (. 3Stk) Led used. Cycles through the colors independently since all colors incl. The control of an LED are integrated. (Not found in Amazon - simply type "RGB Led 2pin" in your search engine - there's then also to view videos - then you know what I mean)
Now been running for Just over a year.
What matters worse, since each of the 3 RGB LEDs has its own color-change speed, they are eventually out of sync. So gentle blue, the other red still etc.
On coasters it looks a bit strange, but with the crystal it has beautiful cross current through the crystal color change. And that looks better than the originals.
More Tuning. My RGB LEDs hold out also 5V. This means - USB supply.
So connecting cables from USB "abused". Fix soldered and on television - infected USB port. Care about this original coaster switch 'so I can turn it.
TV a - a LED
TV out - LED off.
Time and again creating surprised looks when in 2m away Setzkasten suddenly the lighthouse lights. The best course of the night.
For crystal itself. Worked beautifully. No inclusions. Really difficult ..., detail and lit the hit.
2 star deduction, because of the yet very cheap coasters - but Tuning makes it good again. So +1 Star - stay 4stars.
