I use this adapter in conjunction with a Slotbelech in a desktop housing. The cable has provided the slot cover from the computer, it is also backed forwarding the 12V voltage. This means you can also External 3.5 "use S-ATA hard disk drives. In my case, it is a 2.5" S-ATA hard disk. Important in AmigaOS4.1 is that hard disks must be attached before the system startup or after plugging in operating a reboot should be done so that the hard disk is inserted correctly booths.
