Note that the cord is quite short (+/- 50 cm), which was not practical in my setup. Furthermore, the plastic part that surrounds the SCART cord was quite thick and did not fit into the notch on my television set for receiving. A (big) file stroke but allowed me to overcome this, and now everything works great!
Please note that it is not an automatic switch: you have to push a button to enable / disable a particular input.
