I bought this adapter after I had only one 100MBIT conjunction with the originals. According to service of Microsoft should also 1GB can, which was not the case. Plugged this Adaper and suddenly I had ne 1GB connection that brings even neat throughput. In my case with large files about 100MB / s I think that's fine. When I copy from PC to PC I can do about 112MB / s. Many small data throughput breaks logically. What was very important for me, is that the adapter to a USB 3.0 Switch (Orico W6PH4) funtioniert (line recording) and he does with me. At the switch, I have plugged a USB hard drive and a mouse. Only downside is it will not be recognized by the Acronis Resque media but otherwise really good device for little money.
