Contrary to the tender, the adapter "fully occupied" There are in my 24 + 5 contacts available so DVI-I dual link, so can also connect this cable. These contacts are not looped through, unfortunately has only HDMI backward compatibility with DVI-D (Dual Link, 18 + 1 contacts). For me it was nevertheless important my existing DVI-I Dual Link cable to connect my switch to the DVI terminal. After that I've been looking for.

The connectors are very well made, connected cables are firmly, also the connected HDMI cable is really good and not be struck out of the socket, but perhaps that is also depending on the used cable. For me at least, the cable holding the plug very good.

Because the connector is equipped with 2 sockets, of course, appropriate cables are required, so the adapter can not be operated directly on a device, since devices such as televisions, projectors, monitors or computers typically themselves have sockets. If not available, one therefore requires a DVI cable (as described can all even fully occupied cable, are used) and an HDMI cable.
