After several flops with external slim DVD burners I've been thinking about how I have to be mobile at all when it comes to burning. After careful consideration I have come to the conclusion that I do not have time and can burn a DVD / CD anywhere.
In addition, with the drawers solutions of Slim drives did not like so well.

I am then came across this LiteOn drive. The drive is white, small, reads up on DVD-RAM all CD and DVD formats and is not set to the drawer solution. Can burn not only the drive. So today I have ordered and then received.

Unpacked drive connected and the drive was ready to go. All inserted media were read without difficulty.
Practical: the included USB cable is only as long as it is needed for use with a netbook. The drive has on the bottom Ausparung who take the USB cable. Thus one has ever the cable handy if you want to use the drive.

Perfect it would have been if the drive had a protective cover by lying, but maybe now I stand on other high claims.

BTW: have an old internal DVD writer donated an external 5.25 "Cases, which I can operate the netbook the burner also is just not quite as mobile use as an external slim DVD burner..
