We are a group of ten people do regularly twice a week boot camp with the ropes. We have brought us a pack of ten and so far none of the bands have been cracked or damaged in any way. So far, about 20 times used. I had the red original tapes of the Elite DVDs, although had the advantage that still had weights in the handles, but one thing is the last time torn. Have about 30-40 times training persevered. Unfortunately, not much. If the tapes you pull over your shoes and gets stuck somewhere something goes a little damage. Basically, because no matter what you buy, who go all eventually broken. Now again to this one. The handles are stable and are well in hand. The strength is sufficient, even for men. If it is too easy for some but, you wound the rope just once around the hand and thus can increase the intensity. I can give a strong buy recommendation for this product.
