The optically contrasting red edges outside and completely red lining are a matter of taste. Not 100% my case. The inner lining is soft and the outside, there is a kind of protective rubber surface. A fall could survive the camera so well.
The "new smell" the bag is also OK. Now does not smell too much chemistry. Class is of course the lens cap ring. Since then can really nothing more burning! Belt loop and shoulder strap round out the cause. In the small outside pockets can then stow small items.
Conclusion:
The bag acts a total of less than one would think it. So if for such a bag has use, makes for quality certainly nothing wrong! Good 4 stars.
