The pity is that the E630H can only store 200 contact entries. The S810H can handle example 500 contact entries, and I do not consider even this limitation as to date. In addition, the E630H has no USB port for firmware updates or address book synchronization with Outlook. Bluetooth as it has the S610H is also not installed, but at least a headset connection with 2.5 mm jack connector. That surprised me, because this port is not protected sitting behind the large coverage, but is at the bottom and is protected only with a small rubber stopper. Why Gigaset has then but not incorporated USB at a suitable location, do not open up to me.
Well, I like the use of easy replaceable standard batteries in the form of AAA round cells. Thought along Gigaset has also during operation: The practical Spot LED can be activated with a single button and a dedicated profile button can be switched directly between three volume / ringtone profiles. Regarding call quality, so this is a little worse or duller than the S810H, but only slightly noticeable and probably is unavoidable due to the waterproof housing. While there can be the sound profile menu switch, the alternate profile sounds but perfectly flat and gruesomely. Properly disturbing is a distinct noise when talking on the pinna. While talking via a cable Headset or Handsfree the noise is less pronounced. The handsfree works contrary to some other reviews received full duplex, so it's simultaneous speaking and listening possible. Overall, the E630H served its purpose as a robust workshop and garden phone very well. For quiet environments, but I would prefer a normal telephone as the S810H for better call quality.
