I own several camera equipment bags. This bag is just big enough to hold a digital SLR, a large lens (like a wide angle or telephoto), additional filters, while remaining very compact. There are two side spaces too small for a long telephoto lens. The upper compartment has enough space for another purpose, and has an inner mesh pocket. Also two zipped side pockets that do not open completely. Finally, a back pocket large enough for a laptop. The back is lightly padded. The only downsides of this bag, besides its small capacity are no loop for the tripod and a little light padding on the straps.
