After my old PC was now but quite come on AMD basis in the year it should be based on a system happens to Intel. After some searching I finally got me for the Ranger chosen because it has everything I need and at a more acceptable price. When it comes to compatibility with the installed components from me there were no problems, so times a list of those who flirt here with the same hardware and ask whether they are suitable for the Board: Housing: Nanoxia DeepSilence 5 Rev. B (space without end) PSU: be quiet Straight Power 600W 10 Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus VII Ranger Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K CPU Cooler: Thermalright Silver Arrow IB-E (fits easily into the case and to the M-Board) Memory: G.Skill Ares DIMM kit 16GB DDR3-2400 (fits thanks to its low heat sink under the Silver Arrow) Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G1 (fits into the housing without removing a drive cage) Sound: Onboard Optical Drive: Blu-ray burner LG BH16NS40 Storage 1 (Windows 8.1 64bit / applications): Crucial SSD 512GB MX100 Storage 2 (games): SSD 512GB Crucial MX100 Storage 3 (Downloads / Backup etc.): SATA 2.0 1TB hard drive from an old computer (to be replaced by a SATA 3.0 with 2 or 3 TB)
The components run smoothly and without overclocking together my part pleasantly fast. For the processor no bios update was necessary, but of course still be played after completion of the computer the latest BIOS to obtain the related new features, compatibility and possible errors / fixes.
Otherwise, everything is actually already been described in other posts you need to know about this motherboard.
