Good bed, with some BUT

I had long wondered whether I grow my bed, because the bad reviews here but ran me lop something. When I before the manufacturer (ROBA) contacted to possibly clarify the shortcomings mentioned here (wheels / mattress) before, I wondered very much whether I even wanted the bed. The manufacturer, which I can tell you is, not able to be flexible and polite. Customer does not know the seemingly.

However, since the optical system is captivatingly beautiful, I ordered the bed here on Amazon, because the customer knows what he is doing here.

Let's start with the wood:
As widely reported, it is cheap stuff. It splintered off partially. As this was happening to me but only 1-2 times and in places where it is not visible, it was not a reason for complaint. However, part is quite important, and since you can not use broken parts, so now runs quite fresh complaint.

The bed was set up quickly.

First, the runners came off because I knew that the wheels are junk.
The bed rocks well and I am looking forward, if I may rock my daughter in it. :-)

For a long time I wondered also what should I do with the 4th page. That there the grid side is missing, I can not decide for himself / must, whether I still want to have a page that I find very unpleasant. I considered myself to build a grid page. Have this can however be first. Again, I would have liked from ROBA that this grid page Sale on request (by me from a small extra charge) just to the customer. In production, the grid side is yet prepared anyway for the other side, therefore a dual production is likely to be zero problemo. But apparently for ROBA.

The fabric base:

Nest:
The nest to install need something a lot of patience. Thousand loops and every time when you want to up the nest on the non-grid-side / close, you have to tie or open loops first. Well, not a perfect solution, but it holds and that's what counts.
But attaching the Nestchens (it is not only from the side panels, but is connected to all sides) at the bottom of the bed, but has been pretty heavy. If you screw everything together, you should probably equal to attach the part with, so that you can properly connect the substance / burs. With violence or excessive force but we have also managed, because we brought the nest only at the end. Since all parts were then fixed to each other and there still find ne small gap for the Velcro, was not so easy. :-)

And one more tip:
Before her beautiful everywhere binds the nest together, looking for once, how high must be ever a child. I had the floor first screwed at the top, to discover later that it was much higher than my own bed. The material for the attachment to the parents' bed should therefore (and is wenns only to the sample) than 1 are attached. Then place the bottom plate on screw everything and only then tie the nest.

Mattress:
Clearly that's worth a MINUS star. The thing was ghastly. Scratchy is still praised. Since I had already read here in the reviews but that the mattress is lousy, I was looking for a very long time for an alternative.
And what annoyed me the most (at the reviews) that almost no one wrote what were found for good alternatives.
Therefore, here's my tip:

I did not buy the mattress while at Amazon, but there are also those here for currently 69th Sure, that's nen price, but if you want something good for his baby, you have to pay it. I had this mattress somewhere else less snatched for a few euros (and the delivery time was shorter).

This mattress fits perfectly. Since the sheets was also the covering of the mattress, you had to get the thicker mattress in here now. But sweat after about 10 minutes and this was done.

Attaching to the parents' bed:
The distance between the parent and baby bed is quite large, but by allowing the nest pops up (zipped), you could use this material as a transition to the parents' bed. If I do not should be sufficient later, I'll probably tinker a board, which I can then mount between the two beds.

So that I would possibly still fight another problem. The materials, which are intended for attaching to the parents' bed, are so inferior that a wood part already fell apart when watch. Complaints runs, wenns something new there, I will tell it here.
In my case, moreover, the angle were too short, so I had to get new angles. No perfect angle, because you have 2 holes (rather than a whole punched series), but it was enough to start with.

Wheels:
As has often been reported, are the really bad gaaaaanz wheels. So they do not destroy the ground, I have this not even attached.
Problem was. To do something? Simply exchange does not work because ROBA was not so stupid, but stupid. The wheels have taken that does not exist so.
The diameter of the coil is 6 mm. Normally wheels and their setscrew begin at 8 mm.
After much research I found a company that could but help me.

I ordered there 4 double castors with soft tread, 50mm diameter with 4 screws (M6 x 8mm). The 8 mm length of the threaded pin made my only fear that the wheels would not hold, since the included pins are 13mm long, but so far stopped and the wheels roll properly.
So even if it's a short occurs, simply plug into the hole and tighten it, you realize that the screw attracts at once yet and thus the wheels are anchored in bed.

I have amended my review that I have upgraded from 3 to 4 stars. The following reasons:
- The Customer of ROBA has improved real. They go more one on the customer and spare parts Send to without objection.
- One can recently (screws etc.) to buy for 11.90 plus shipping a 2 mesh side with accessories therefor. On the supply I'm still waiting.
- Every complaint is taken into consideration for the subsequent production series. So calls and says what is broken and so on - you get spare and help the next buyers.
