I bought this book to learn the basics of pastry ... but in the end I do not serve me! It is a beautiful book that gives good recipes and it is a real plus for all that is decorated miniardises ... The explanations are very clear and well illustrated. It's very educational without being academic. By cons, for the classics, this is not the ideal book. In fact every time I want to do a cake could not be more mundane, I never find it in this book (eg no recipe for chocolate eclair while there was the coffee, no recipe Black Forest ...) In short, this is a beautiful book for lovers of pastry but not for those looking for a classic pastry book.
