Good but bad product

Whether with Deep Purple, Blackmore's Night, or as here with Rainbow, Blackmore will with the lives of the great legendary. Black Masquerade remains in this range but small disappointment, not at the bottom of it.

This concert yet has many strengths.
- Ritchie always plays to perfection and make a list of passages where he impresses me is too long.
- It allows to (re) discover many titles Stranger In Us All unjustly underrated at the time as though this is not the best of Rainbow. I even find that these songs take on another dimension live.
- The "back catalog" not forgotten nor even Deep Purple period of the man in black with especially breathtaking Burn.
- We know that Ritchie is very demanding with his musicians but it leaves room for them to express themselves, which is to his credit, and that's good because they are all good.
- A word about Doogie White. It is clearly not at Dio or Coverdale Gillan yet still effective and dynamic. In his defense, the other are legends.
- The CD booklet contains many interesting notes.

Unfortunately a big retail angry.
- Production is more than average, and the remastering work close to zero or even zero. I will take the example of the soundtrack of Judy Garland together Spotlight Kid cited by others but also a drum sound that is really as bad as Chuck Burgi is excellent.

Two words to finish. First I regret that apart Spotlight Kid, the period JL Turner is zapped. Then Candice Night provides some vocals on Ariel, in the studio, a small collaboration with her boyfriend before she drags in the medieval folk trip.
