You can manage without special handling by the home theater and TV channels by the decoder.
One side of the coin: everything must be set at least once!
And according to your equipment that may become complex. In my case, with a TV and an amp that does not automatically detect the active source,
and where change is relative to the last known source (ie key "next source"), it took more than 5 hours before getting an acceptable result.
If my equipment automatically detected the source, the same result would have been achieved in less than an hour.
Summary: very comprehensive product but can become complex. For allergy to new technologies, go your way.

The battery has lived a year, taking only a few hours (and if not too much "zap").
Contacted, the SAV Logitech sent me a spare battery in less than a week and no charge.
