You can download software deemed to offer a greater number of features. It will fit into your Office suite, but will do you no more appreciable. His only interest is to provide a single software for controlling various models détiqueteuses Dymo (the range is wide), which may make sense in a professional context.
The ribbon cartridge supplied (white ribbon, 12 mm wide) is easy to position; a window in the device allows you to check the characteristics (color and width of the tape). The printer can print on wide ribbons of 6, 9 and 12 mm. To edit up to 24 mm wide, you must purchase the LabelManager WiFi, shareable among multiple users.
Approval of use far exceeds the dune portable label such as the Dymo LM280 in QWERTY keyboard; but against the latter has the advantage of being mobile. This account, if you live in a big house, or you need to use the machine in a factory or warehouse.
My criticisms are:
- The labels intersect (easily) by pressing the large button located at the top of the machine. But the software does not allow to adjust the length of tape upstream and downstream of the text. In some cases one would like to reduce these portions to the minimum, which is not authorized; it will go to the chisel;
- Above all, the price of a tape cassette 7 meters high (15 euros).
In the category of non-nomadic labelers, I much prefer the Dymo LabelWriter 450 machines of the series, the operating cost is much lower, despite a higher purchase price. Read my review of the LabelWriter 450 Turbo, absolutely baffling. There is also a LabelWriter 450 almost as good, and the same price as this LabelManager PnP, which did for her that her choice of colorful ribbons.
If you still intend to buy this label, type in the search headband Amazon the words "LabelManager PnP". I discovered that Amazon offers this machine at a price almost half less, provided IN ADDITION with a second yellow tape 9 mm wide!
