Former point I can - for lack of comparative figures - neither confirm nor deny. The only comparable figure I can draw is that I sometimes already held the Rodenstock Digital Pro MC 52 mm Vario neutral density filter (ND filter, neutral density filters) in the hands and the excellent build quality is reflected in the low price. For the price and the type of this filter, it should be clear that the quality of Hama Filters certainly can not compete with. But that was not my expectation, with whom I have struck here.
I'm also fairly new to photography and may want to spend all know the same amount of money and not first want to see how it is possible with a ND filter Riding off, can strike here happy. The price matches the quality.
Now that I lacked any experience I decided for this variable filter and regret not buying one second. I have already taken pictures of current waterfalls and am very satisfied.
Conclusion:
The Hama Vario ND2-400 gray filter 52mm is a very good introduction to photography, I think with the additional experience and professionalism later, he comes quickly to its limits. But for starters, he does his job very well and its price value
4 of 5 stars because of good price and yet decent image processing is not quite the Hamma (he) ;-)
