Armchair well overall. I use it for my daughter who just turned 12 months, lying down in the evening when she takes her bottle or intermediate style fireside position when it wants to sit to watch TV or eat a snack. I rarely use the sitting position because the space where it sassoit is quite short, it is not as comfortable in other conventional chairs child, maybe when it will be 2 years and better stability in its movement, she will more easily while seated. So here if you are looking for a chair, I asse mixed but if like me you are looking for a place where baby can ask quietly without leaving a mattress, that's fine.
