This book tells a slice of life of some retirees in a highly secure luxury residence in the south of France. These retirees settle in this new apartment and saw the few people in this "fortress" (they are 5 inhabitants) they are forced to mingle despite their differences. They thus live camera which obviously creates tension between them. The characters (7 in total counting the strange guardian and facilitator of the clubhouse) are correctly described but one would have hoped more detail, more depth in these descriptions. Too bad we do not know any more, even if the information back gradually they remain very (too) few. The tension reaches however up to the end (I will not reveal). But again I think that we remain unsatisfied. In conclusion, a hundred more pages to deepen everything would have been necessary to improve this book lacks consistency accordingly. Too bad, because the story and the idea of the novel deserves.
