+ Very good haptics
+ Reliable automatic mode of Panasonic; Manage 90% of the photos
+ Very short shutter lag (==> Snapshot guarantee)
+ Good battery life
+ Good readability of the display even in glaring sun
+ Effective image stabilization with photos
+ Still useful 9 x 13 photo prints at ISO 800
+ Great Full HD mode (with image stabilization)
+ GPS mode (for those who need it, makes sense), through a firmware update now even faster satellite Fixing Time
- Video mode, unfortunately without stereo
- Type of construction Duch the lens unfortunately high stray light, which can be very well seen in "sunny" good weather photos
- Big minus: Unfortunately the still very high price
This camera is one of the best Outdoorcams that it is currently on the market, but due to the price in terms of image quality (keyword scattered light) to overpriced for me. My Canon A590 for 80, - doing better pictures. Without GPS module would be 230 to 250, - for the FT3 appropriate as you look for the MSRP of the Panasonic 400, - (!!!) can already buy an entry-level DSLR.
In the water I had the camera not yet, but I researched Duch reviews on the internet that this Panasonic will be worse than Olympus or Canon. Eventually I sold the camera again, because I was not satisfied with the picture quality "on water" (for the price).
