Mixer taps from discounters I will probably not buy. After I had to change my shower at the Aldi-fitting almost a year ago, the faucet was leaking even now. Since my wife has recognized that it is not such a big highlight with the pull-out shower and shower hose interfere only in the Cabinet, came to bear the simple execution again. This faucet is inexpensive and still of good quality, that complicated the change was the dismantling of the already heavily oxidized or rusted Aldi-fitting, the screws could be only laboriously solve and cope without craftsmanship almost not. The assembly of this fitting actually was against a no-brainer, surely it is very helpful if a second person the fitting when screwing from below this keeps up and thus fixed, but it is necessary also single-handedly. During installation, I have to follow the instructions (actually there are only drawings) held, which is not quite open up why the flat seal only after spacer is to be mounted, does not make much sense to me. But anyway, the top O-ring should ensure tightness, I followed the instructions and it's been everything tight. My faucet is mounted directly in the sink and does not go through a countertop as one might refer to the drawings. The one with the small gap the true remains visible above due to the O-ring and is with us about 0.5 mm, thus is hardly noticeable and must be clean in this area but at every faucet, there accumulates always lime or germ. Tilting, or wobbling does not in any event, but our sink is also still from the old stable generation. Actuation of the lever mixer is very easy and the outlet can also swivel easily. Design is always a matter of taste, they are like. For this price and the attractive quality a strong buy recommendation!
