Good cable with restrictions on iPod Classic 4 and 5

I bought 2 cable 2 years ago. After this period of use I can say that the cable still works. I have to report so far no cable break or a Def. Connector.
Unfortunately, there are limitations:
iPod Classic 5G, iPod invites not, but synchronized with iTunes on iMac
iPod Classic 4G, iPod loads, is not recognized on Mac

Without Restriction:
iPod Nano 3G, 4G, no restriction
iPhone 4, no restriction
iPad 3, no limitation - I can not say that charging takes longer than the original also.
But I prefer from 2 stars, because the cable load the iPod devices, it should not do.
The durability of the cable conduit is excellent for the price.
