Good camera with a value for money, what could be improved

Since a few days now I have the camera in use and am quite happy on the whole. However, the device has some reserves and could be one or the other still improve. For example is the Firefox not the full range of functions available. With ActivX needed for recording and transmitting audio for the IE. That's my opinion, a minus value, since you can not install anywhere ActivX (at work for example).
The image quality is mediocre and quite actually upgradeable for the price. The camera offers innately no video compression. For additional software from the manufacturer is required, which is chargeable. This is another drawback.

Another positive note is supplied with the camera. It is next to the power supply and the CD also a wall bracket and a LAN cable.
Also positive is the fixed Internet address of the action. This is the camera without Dyndns anytime anywhere and they are just saves the account with a provider such as DynDNS. Furthermore, the night vision function for an IP camera is quite good. By IR LEDs can be seen all very well in the dark.

There are certainly cheaper alternatives to the Instar Cam with the same or similar technical facilities, but who sets great store by service and help in case of problems, should remain at the Instar camera.
