The image quality is for a camera of this model really good. In principle can not moan to ISO 1600 are about sharpness and noise. To my mind the Bilqualität but no longer ansehenlich latest ISO 3200. Here noise is visible and in particular gray / white transitions tend to pixelation. Higher ISO values can then accordingly absolutely to be desired and are not recommended.
I bought this camera mainly as a snapshot camera. Normally I prefer going with my Sony A57. This is also clearly the advantage of the small Samsung. It is very compact and virtually wherever you go. Latest wenns it in the continuous shooting goes (for example, fast sports shooting) but my image sequences even with SanDisk card Class10 bit slow. Here, the 20 Megapixel do then but unpleasantly and I grab rather be back for fast A57.
Edit 1:
Since I like about my work experience reports from time to time, here's my first update. At the weekend the small Sammy has proven again in party mode. In particular, the swiveling display is ideal to put himself and his friends in the scene. The transfer of images on my Galaxy Note 2 via NFC works great. These cute gimmicks provide little looker. The image quality can not be influenced by motor impaired operation of the user. In other words, even after a couple of beers to operate optimally. ;-)
Conclusion:
All in all a nice and compact camera and a nice companion to party and disco visits. It provides stehts good images even under low aspect ratios. I want to be but not to lug the heavy A57. Extremely Cool, I find the look retro style of the 50's / 60's / 70's cameras. Something I like better than this eternal black uniformity. For color enthusiasts, there is also Colour Edition models.
