I bought the Camel Virgina "Crazy Horse" Boots (mocha, oiled leather) in duplicate, so two pair. Because I have the rare shoe size 49 and always looking for those boots, and because I could buy these shoes here at Amazon for the best price (had been reduced to about half the price). As I suggested, albeit with the negative reviews of the two reviewers in mind that certain charges not so without reason such negative judgment to the shoe. I've tried it yet - I've ordered (only for testing a pair, then the second pair of conviction) and am glad that I have appointed me. I find the shoes very good, by the look and by its processing perspective. There are robust and relatively lightweight boots, which I also very good fit (both pairs fall absolutely equal and each shoe fits). The leather is nice and thick and has only few seams - this is the main criterion to which I pick my shoes - they should be made of as little as possible the individual pieces (patches) .... because they thus more valuable and less susceptible because welds are always a risk -. whether bezgl as vulnerability twine / seam or flaw seen the water inlet. As I said, I am satisfied so far with the quality of the boots. Also inside the boots are well made and offer a good grip - are sturdy footwear, although light in weight. I do not appreciate this shoe also a skew as transgressors.
The slightly scruffy, rough & cool look (Distressed leather with fat, fat leather) of boots is bold - I wear them on the paddock, in the forest and to finer occasions - even now in summer. Since I already own the shoe for a while, I know that it does not get sweaty and the shoes are portable so even in summer. I have the boots sealed before wearing with nano waterproofing spray of Deichmann, further comprising a colorless shoe polish Erdal - then brushed in the bacon rinds tidy. That's enough to simply brush off the dust again, or if it is necessary to rinse the boots in the shower, then they look like new again.
I would have liked these boots in pure leather version, underneath a leather sole, etc., those shoes I had once from South America that were really cool. Unfortunately, there are no longer these shoes, as well as many other good things of the 70s and 80s.
I would recommend this shoe to anyone who would like to have those boots. My boots were incidentally Amazon England (UK) to me, although bought here in Germany ... what I call cool and that's why I also know that the boots "Crazy Horse" is known there.
