From the outside there is in this case nothing to complain about. The orange fans look great, otherwise the housing keeps rather plain.
The cable management inside is well thought out (for me would have good nor a clip more may be there), you can keep almost all cables from the ventilation away.
Super I found the slot cover, where you can connect the fan and what a regulation of the fan is possible.
Even if there is something strange comes over, I still have a floppy drive. Although this has also considered the manufacturer, the holder for the floppy drive, however, was totally bent from delivery. So come to the 2 hours 20 minutes for conversion halfway straightening.
A hard drive sled was wrong. But this must be straight, so that the put on and take pushing works. But now we already had some experience in bending ;-)
The hard drives are located on the Screw holes are not directly on the case, but rubber bands are buffered, resulting in a quieter soundscape. The same principle also the power adapter is attached.
What has worked well in the old housing, now does not work quite as well. I must now decide between boot disk and optical drive, because the IDE cable is not long enough for both (and the board only has one IDE).
After successfully building and first start "after" all is well, and whisper-quiet. The lighting of the fan looks great (in broad daylight with full power to the fans clearly visible) and ensures in late missions for a warm light. Who needs full fan strength, should perhaps look for quieter alternatives for regulation to about half hear the fan barely.
That the drives "bombproof" keep, I can, at least in my model (Monday production? Please comments!) Not claim. And the manual helps as not necessarily continue, because it is much too unusual a little short ...
The short version:
+ Design
+ Cable Management
+ (Not quite) screwless assembly
- Quality
- Manual / Manual to nearly
Edit:
I have this housing now about 1.5 years of service and regularly annoyed about the one or other detail. The floppy disk drive I have now been replaced by a card reader, which is almost impossible to bring to a fixed position. I find it still lacks some clips for cable management and can not anywhere any fan used.
The cheap processing means that the flaps can not be properly opened and closed, and along the way, I wonder how to get at 4 disks the cable back there really pure ?! In nearly every change I cut into my hands, because everything is built so magnificently. Still 2 hard drives are so loose that you have to touch them briefly so they will not stay in place.
For this price you get better quality from other manufacturers!
