Who knows the Berghaus should be clear at what level the quality moves.
In my opinion, a very good development of the Munro's, nice that the supporting MOLLE system is now also arrived at Berghaus. The expansion options with the zippbaren side pockets as daypacks is naturally brilliant. The backpack should in principle pass as a substitute for the Munro in official use, because the difference is not just a jump into the eye and just the 10l may provide some relaxation here more.
What I will, however, never understand the philosophy of zippers: In my Atlas II (BW stocks, delivered official) match the side pockets only on the head, the same side pockets fit in the Atlas II (from LhdBw) from my brother right side up.
The side pockets of the Atlas II of my brother fit the centurion but only at the top. A cheap alternative of Toploader side pockets are the British Army (Attention:. On these bags is not an official Berghaus label, but fit Presumably Berghaus was here supplier for the British Army), there are on a budget and according to age in a simple olive or British Tarn. Are halt upside down ...
A bit annoying I find on the sides of the thick plastic in which the belts are out, that would not could be the backpack similar to the current British combat backpack through the zipper "in themselves" zusammenzippen and compress when empty.
The pack size is very similar in the empty state of the Munro's, so that one actually has the greater volume only benefits. The carrying system is good and adequate for the size, but I wish the (over) loaded state a better hip strap such as the Atlas II, but it is ultimately so (of course, there is nothing against the proven Bergbuckle suspend itself).
You sweat under the (full) backpack, but I still have not seen any (military) backpack in which it is different. Who is sensitive should perhaps rather look at Deuter & Co. for a system where the back gets more air. Otherwise can be quite well mitigate this problem with proper clothing strategy.
The lid compartment with small inside pocket I find Top, and also the subject of the hydration system allows at least some order. Who desperately needs more order can buy the Organiser / Medic-side pocket for a lot of money. But would be too heavy and too expensive.
