When my LD20 "faulty" appeared (for details see below), I was looking for a new flashlight. The demands were clear: small, robust, waterproof, bright and above all a very good burning time. We tested the NiteCore P16, P25 and NiteCore the LD22.
During fell out the P16 immediately had the P25 compared to the LD22 the advantage that it was lighter, can be recharged via USB and has a very good focal length and - for me - (simply brilliant in the tent) great mode of 2 lumens. However, a disadvantage of P25 were also very overwhelming, more than three times as heavy, much larger and more expensive.
Therefore, the LD22 has done the race, what I do not regret even since then.
I suppose both with flashlights for camping in long walks and bike rides. Both torches are extremely small and light. Another plus point is the focal length of the flashlights. Therefore, the price / performance ratio in my opinion unbeaten.
A big difference in brightness and lighting range there is not purely subjekvit considering.
The difference between the two, however, is off ie input the mode button and mode.
The LD20 can all this has an additional switch button with a single switch while the LD22 for the mode.
In addition, the LD20 (perhaps thereby) a known problem: My old LD20 was often made easy or flickered. The solution I've found in a Flashlight Forum (Just looking after googling).
This error may occur if the LD22, because it has a different design, so I would also recommend the LD22.
Here are brief advantages of LD 22
Advantage ::
- Small, light, handy
- Mode button very well fitted (compared to LD 20)
- More than enough light
- Various modes
- Long burning time
- AA batteries
For me, for my purposes, perfect flashlight
