Since I myself have the smart CX05 (satellite receiver) with SmartStream and my father was looking for something similar cable,
he has now brought the CX75. Last weekend we then installed on the receiver with Him, where I helped him.
After this receiver is connected to the TV device, etc., the receiver will start first with the
Select the menu language and the country. Then starts directly the channel search, which, after about 5 minutes
was done, which is very fast compared to many other device and all channels were found. The transmitters are very well refined by the scan, thanks RASS, so you really can directly TV. But if you want to install manually the transmitter via LCN or this.
Switching times are approximately 1-2Sekunden perfectly fine and the picture is at its top 42 "Panasonic!
The factory is here 1080i as resolution, but you can set 1080p via the integrated Upscaller also.
The menu is clearly designed and you'll quickly find all the settings with the receiver at the factory already
is very well adjusted.
In general, the receiver offers everything you could possibly need:
- Smart Link (HDMI CEC)
- SmartStream
- Media Player to play back still images and movies from a USB drive.
- Upscaller to 1080p
- EPG
- 32 FAV lists
- TXT and subtitle function
- A couple of Web features like YouTube, web radio, RSS feeds, and a weather service.
Only a CI (+) slot or PVR to USB does not provide the smart CX75. But now the
Private broadcasters are also cable free to air in SD, interferes with the absence of CI (+) my
Father did not really think he has always subscribed no PayTV and PVR is not relevant to him.
Who but additionally want to record on a USB memory can be used to
CX76 resort, which offers PVR to USB.
Now for eingentlichen function, which is why my father bought the receiver, the streaming on his tablet and
smartphone.
The receiver was connected via PowerLAN with the Speedport router. PowerLan because the router is in another room and the receiver itself does not offer a Wi-Fi. But for streaming LAN is always better, in my opinion.
Under network simply pressed in the receiver menu, click Connect, and already called the receiver via the DHCP
IP data from and was connected to the network.
The receiver then set in the SmartStream mode, simply press the button on the remote BOX2IP and then on the smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S4 mini) and tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 Wifi 3) load the channel list. When app we've taken the "IPTV" (Alexander Sofronov) because since the channel logos to be loaded into the list. However, the app itself uses a player, such as VLC, or MX Player VPlayer, for playing the streams.
As described in the instructions, enter the specified URL with the Receiver IP in the IPTV app, now the channel list (.m3u) was loaded.
Then we could on the tab all the free channels without interference, look in HD!
Disturbances in streaming, even with HD channels are not yet occurred.
Since the receiver meets all Anfroderungen for my father, there are also 5 star!
