My PC runs on Windows 7, 64 bit. That's for older scanners often a KO - even if the hotlines and manufacturer affirm something else: 64-bit is a completely different architecture in the computer than 32-bit systems and the nix with old scanners.

So I thought, I'll buy 'me a new ultra part of Brother, which has to work. Indeed, it not: the Control Centre was not working with scanners and PC had problems forever. the WLAN feature I had not activated! And that was it. It was only when I had entered the key of the wireless network, the device was fully configured and - wonder of wonders! - Everything went smoothly, in particular the Control Center.

However, I had downloaded the latest drivers for Brother. The supplied on the CD does not seem to be ideal.

For consumption, quality of prints, etc. I can not say much, but it seems to me to meet all of Brother typical quality.
