So when I came, there also quite by chance on this beautiful object, I rushed over fear of being confronted with a crowd of crazy fans that would have fully loaded radius of this beautifully appointed album "Riceboy Sleeps", so that an empty space expanse of desert. Undoubtedly, despite the status of solo album as the cover suggests, there is indeed a work of Sigur Ros. At least his singer accompanied by a certain Alex. Here, very little singing. The voice of Jonsi is even more diluted than before. Even bowels of each title, fragile voice come take over with ease but, 'I wonder if they are not the fruit of this extraordinary artist who is Jonsi. A unique voice, charged troubling. As for the music, even more ethereal than that heard in "()", it is nothing less than a marvel for the ears. It's slow. Very slow even. But so beautiful that one can only fall in love. It listens on a rainy day in late afternoon. When life seems to slow down around us and that everyone aspires only a little rest and wellbeing.
So even if formally this "Riceboy Sleeps" is not the result of the collaboration of a group as a whole structure, we can consider this album as the logical continuation of "()" released in 2002. Those who know Sigur Ros as the name, and the other for that matter, will only be moved in an absolutely shattering music and a rare beauty.
Jonsi thank you. Alex thank you.
