For me, especially the open standard was important and the ability to store more than one SD card to expand.
When using the SD card has two drawbacks I have met that have not yet mentioned here:
When using the SD card only bookmarks can be set when previously all books have been placed in a folder named "book" on the SD card and the SD card will not be indexed. That means I need to know exactly where my book is on the card to be able to read it. I have solved the problem by many subfolders, but find it a bit annoying.
